Cleveland: Okoro S&T (4/44) and Niang

Atlanta: Hunter

Cavs get a versatile big while overpaid can find value in

Atlanta get a wing defender to play next to Trae and save money.

I don't really have Hunter as a big. Maybe a small ball 4. Not sure Okoro signs that contract either.

I'm somewhere between fine and meh on this. Hunter is often-injured and those injuries appear to have taken their toll on his athleticism.

What about Cleveland paying a third team for a player Cleveland wants?

Say..

Nance+Niang and the Sac first to Brooklyn
DFS to Cleveland
Okoro to Atlanta

Or a different wing in that type of trade? Maybe some value moved around..

Atlanta would be able to pay 13-14 first year, more if you swap Kobe for a vet min or something… get to keep Hunter/Jalen/Zac for a year.. have guard depth with Trae, Bogdan, Daniels, Okoro.. and two good centers for a year.

Feels like a good situation to see if it’s worth keeping Trae, maybe add another star later, or what direction the team should commit to.

If Okoro is willing to sign a 4 year/$44 million offer, he's not leaving Cleveland.
