Just Barnes it seems. Duarte went to Bulls

Spurs taking Barnes was so obvious to me. Pop loves Barnes and he's the perfect guy to raise that team.

It’s good he had neutral value, was doubtful
-edit, of course he didn’t

Spurs moves this offseason have been questionable
Edit: the pick swap (assuming a 1st) makes up for it

I like this for San Antonio, they will benefit from having a pretty stable forward like Harrison Barnes in their rotation. Should be easy to trade next off-season, if they need to shave off his $19MM expiring salary.

Barnes was not neutral. That pick swap is huge.

Man, would’ve liked Utah to take Barnes (would’ve done it for free, would’ve loved it at this price).

are you allowed to trade 2032 pick swap? 25/26/27/28/29/30/31 = 7 years isnt it? Does the Stepien rule not apply to swaps? If thats the case then can 2nd apron teams trade far future swaps

edit nvm

Count me as another "Barnes is neutral" at worst person. Good player who doesn't complain about a reduced role and kind of does a ton of what you need from a 3/4? I think San Antonio just had Sacramento by the balls because if Utah is doing an R+E they can't take Barnes for free, and I think no other team can just absorb him?

Yah, that's really wild they were able to extract that kind of swap as the third team in the deal.

Sad not to keep Barnes to be a bench guy, but I'm not going to miss his 2 points/0 rebounds/0 assists/25 minutes on the stationary bike games.
