Spurs trade Johnson/Collins/25 FRP (Charlotte)
Spurs receive Bridges/Kessler
Spurs move off a plateau’d Johnson for a scorer in Bridges to put beside Wemby. They add a defensive big that can backup Wemby or at times play with.
Jazz trade Markkanen/Kessler
Jazz receive Johnson/Richards/2 - 25 FRPs/2 - 27 FRP
Jazz looking to move off Kessler and replace him with Richards. Johnson comes in with a declining contract. Jazz are not winning with or without Markkanen. Avoid paying Markkanen a max contract while still losing. Gain 2 additional 25 FRPs in a top draft class.
