Why does the title say Robinson

With Martin gone he should get a larger role, so the ability to re-enter free agency in 2 summers could pay off for him. For Miami seems relatively low risk.

This is a steal for the Heat.

Great potential on this deal for MIA if his shooting is for real. He shot 40% last year but when BOS played them they didn't respect it. Left him open and he shot 18%. If he's an actual 3&D player then this could be a steal. If he's one of those guys who just had a fluke of an uptick in his percentage for one year and falls back to a low 30s shooter over longer sample size, then it's just an ok deal.

I don't see much downside other than maybe their tax situation forcing them to pay a 2nd or two to dump him into cap space later. But that's not really about him.

Love it for the Heat. Honestly, I though both Highsmith and Martin would have gotten more in the open market.

IDK if it's a steal. He is an end of rotation player at end of rotation price.

Yeah that's a great contract. Earlier in FA reports said Detroit was interested in him, too bad we didn't steal him from Miami, I like his defense and he can hit open shots, he's a nice rotation player.

A barely rotation-level player gets T-MLE money. This is Riley's big move?

Yes every transaction a team makes is their big move. Bringing back Kornet was Boston's big move not the additions of KP and Jrue last summer...

Try contributing something other than snark please.

I can't be the only one surprised at the Heat's inactivity.
