Wizards

Kyle Kuzma
For
Cody Martin (CHA) +
28 LAL 1st swap (top 5 pro)
25 LAC 2nd
27 LAL 2nd

Get below the 1st tax apron & add some assets for a piece not viewed as a long-term fit

BROGDON - POOLE - COULIBALY - SARR - VALANCIUNAS

Hornets

Cody Martin & Grant Williams
For
D'Angelo Russell & Cam Reddish

Reshape their roster with additional flexibility next off-season with DLo & Cam coming off the books

BALL - MILLER - SALAUN - BRIDGES - WILLIAMS

Jazz

Walker Kessler
For
Grant Williams & Christian Wood +
26 LAL 1st swap
27 LAL 1st (remove top 7 pro)

Unprotect their 1st and add another swap with plenty potential - reports today are they want "at least a 1st" for their young center

GEORGE - SEXTON - MARKKANEN - WILLIAMS - COLLINS

Lakers

D'Angelo Russell, Christian Wood & Cam Reddish +
26 LAL 1st swap
27 LAL 1st (remove top 7 pro)
28 LAL 1st swap (top 5 pro)
25 LAC 2nd
27 LAL 2nd
For
Kyle Kuzma & Walker Kessler

Risking some assets post AD's contract but strengthen their roster with great fits

REAVES - VANDERBILT - KUZMA - JAMES - DAVIS

The Hornets already have 6 million guards, we don't want more. If Salaun starts I think I'd cry too

The 2026 swap doesn't do anything for us, so it's just removing the protections for Kessler and taking back players that playoff teams don't want.

Whats the least amount of protection you'd take on LAL 29 1st

Charlotte can be replaced by any team
Would Utah be interested in 2nds for taking/waiving some of DLo/Wood/Reddish

So LA/UTA/WAS

Lakers: Russell, Wood, Cam, picks, cash for Kessler, Kuzma

Jazz: Kessler for Russell, Wood, 26 swap, 27 pro removed, 29 top 8 pro 1st, $7m cash considerations

Wizards: Kuzma for Reddish, 28 swap, 2 2nds

Would open MLE as well as roster space for LA
Get Utah picks with cap remaining
Get Washington picks and tax free

I would do that trade, IDK about the Jazz.

Kuzma is going to cost more than a swap and two SRP's.

The Wizards are currently asking for two FRP's. I don't know if they'll get it, but they'll definitely get at least one. They certainly aren't giving him away for a 2028 swap with a team that has Anthony Davis. That swap probably wouldn't even happen unless the Wizards rebuild plan works perfectly.

pass. Grant provides a need for us far more than Russell does
