Brogdon to Atlanta, Capela to Charlotte

So I tried Martin/Micic/two 2nds for Brogdon. And I think that’s the base of a deal that makes sense. And should happen as CLT should be looking to upgrade their guard glut…
But no one liked it.
So here we are.
Atlanta: Capela, Mathews, 2028 Houston 2nd
Atlanta: Brogdon and Richards
Atlanta starts Okongwu at center and has two very different looks (Nance/Richards) behind him. Brogdon is a very good backup guard for Trae and can help stabilize the unit that struggles without him. Has the size to play the two some obviously.. Atlanta does go back over the tax, but trimming the roster to 14 should solve that.. A Liddell/Bruno dump so don’t think it’s a real concern. Or just stay over the tax until December and see what the team looks like (dump Zeller or maybe move on from one of the bigger contracts if the season is going as some expect, etc)
CLT: Richards, Martin, Micic, 2028 CLT 2nd
CLT: Capela, Mathews
CLT brings a strong vet center in to split minutes with Williams and play a bigger role when he misses time. If Green/NSJ and some long ball minutes are the plan for the two, then you invest a bit at the center spot to protect the kids.
Washington: Brogdon
Washington: Micic, Martin, two 2nds
Washington saves money and gets two seconds. Micic makes offense easy for young bigs and gives up enough points on the other side to not hurt a tank. Martin - we can pretend he might bounce back and be an asset, or just matching salary in a bigger salary dump later..
