I still like Dame, but I'd laugh so hard if he demanded out of Portland only to be mired in a Giannisless Milwaukee.

Also, I don't believe the Bucks would entertain moving Giannis.

The Spurs don't have $40M in cap space. They could trade close to $30M in expiring contracts and Castle.

Really wanted to see if Wemby was coming back, understandably he isn't.

In that case, 6 first rounders and Castle is still somehow light on

Giannis would have to request a trade. Even then i would still be reluctant to trade him.

You’re not getting his value in a deal. He wouldn’t allow it.

IMO Giannis isn't worth the price the Bucks would want for him. I don't believe his game will translate well into his 30's. That being said if you are a team like the Lakers, Suns, Nuggets, Timberwolves, Mavs, or Heat and you can keep most of your veteran pieces then I can see it being valuable to get Giannis.

FWIW I wouldn't do it as the Spurs.

How are Spurs able to trade 4 firsts in a row? Do they have additional picks that circumvent the Stepien rule?

They own at least two firsts in 2025 and 2027, so yeah.

Would/should be “better of” firsts realistically.
