To sac: jjj
Why: gives them an elite offball defender to offset sabonis weakness.
To mem: Lauri
Why: gives them a floor spacer that can rebound
To utah: Murray lyles and picks (picks negotiable)
Why for utah: more youth/assets

If I'm MEM I'm not trading JJJ for Lauri. I think you are over Lauri.
And who is Murray Lyles?

ya i mean JJJ is one of those special players who fits perfectly next to Sabonis. While I love Keegan we would have to do this.
Can't imagine Memphis considers trading JJJ right now. Think they would want to add Lauri to the Ja/Bane/JJJ core.

OK. I was wrong about how Memphis would view a jjj for Lauri Swap.
I felt like it would make them better. I think they disagree.

It’s not though because the last pick is the only one with value.

I've gone over this before, but here's the deal with Utah; They can't afford to trade away star level talent without regard as to whether or not that player wants to stay in Utah. Whether or not Lauri stays with the Jazz depends on his willingness to stick with the Jazz. Utah can't afford to assume that whoever they trade him for won't be counting the days until they can seek greener grass.
As long as Lauri is good with staying in Utah, he isn't going anywhere without a significant overpay. Fair value isn't going to be enough to get Ainge to pull the trigger.
Also, Realgm doesn't really have a good grasp on trade value. The Gobert trade was declared the most lopsided trade in history, only for Minnesota to make it to the conference finals the next year. It's extremely possible Utah never gets a quality pick out of that transaction. So far, Minnesota has won that trade, despite RealGM's insistence that Gobert wasn't worth that kind of value. NBA fans tend to treat future picks as if they are worth top 5 value, when in reality they are more likely to be late lotto to mid-twenties.

Lauri should stay in Utah
JJJ should stay in Memphis
Good deal for both

I like the idea of…
MEM GETS: Lauri Markkanen & Walker Kessler
SAC GETS: Jaren Jackson Jr.
UTA GETS: Keegan Murray + Picks
For MEM, Morant, Bane, & Markkanen seems like enough offensive talent to push them into that contender status and it would only help Morant considering how much more Markkanen would space the floor for him (vs Jackson Jr). Defensively, they replace Jackson Jr.’s rim protection with Kessler who’s on a cheap rookie deal. In fact, they’d have a young, cheap C rotation of Kessler and Edey which gives them 48 minutes of excellent rim protection, rebounding, and size.
For SAC, Jackson Jr. gives them the size/length they need at PF while still providing floor spacing for Fox, DeRozan, and Sabonis. Also, having an elite defender like Jackson would be very beneficial for a team that is playing DeRozan and Sabonis 34+ min a night.
For UTA, they get a blue chip prospect to kick start their rebuild and additional picks to further add to their assets.

Jaren like Ja and Bane are our core. Making them untouchable unless for better player who is clear upgrade. No need for Kessler with Edey. Lauri can be gotten without using any of our core.
