having seen Poku first hand, he is nowhere close to an NBA caliber big. Never seen a worse 7-footer at finishing at the rim, and our recent history is full of extremely weak centers. He isn't halfway good enough as a shooter or defender either to justify watching him get bodied over and over again in the paint. Fun gimmick in the rare occasion he plays well, but he's a two-way caliber player that is probably too "experienced" to sign one. He'll be in Europe by 2026 for sure.

Side note: the lineups with him and Bertans together were an affront to basketball itself

Great signing for Char-Taj is one of my favorite all time Bulls and will help lead that young team.

I still think Char should go for Lavine. A lineup of Ball/Lavine/Miller/Bridges/Williams is very solid, and they'd have bench pieces to play with

You are not alone.

I think there’s something there, he didn’t have injuries luck and decent amount of games to work it out on the court.

Seems like a good locker room presence but don’t think he has anything left in the tank as a basketball player.

He could still play some minutes if the guys are playing selfishly kind of basketball , but probably not much other minutes.

I believe he was great for Detroit, seems like he helped Wiseman a lot the time he was with us.

I could swear this man has been in his late 30s for a decade.

did Wiseman display better decision making after working with Taj? If so, that might be good news for Nick Richards, whose basketball IQ is through the floor and lodged somewhere in the earth's mantle

He had some good moments here and there, he was still a terrible player, but showed some things he didn't before, he played with more confidence. Taj shouldn't be playing anymore tho, he should be a coach imo, he's probably going to be a good one. He is probably going to help both Nick Richards and Mark Williams.

Nick's decision making is really the only thing holding him back from being a JaVale McGee-esque spot-minutes big man for a contender. If Taj can help him figure out where to position himself so he isn't constantly blocking his own teammate's driving lanes on offense, and not biting on every pump fake on D, that alone is worth the roster spot.

If he can't, then can he at least donate Mark whatever part of his back is giving him problems?
