NOP needs a center

New Orleans needs a center. There appears to be very few teams interested in Ingram. So not using Ingram, which center do you target and what do you offer for the center?

I'm not sure CJ is a player the Raptors want but maybe CJ/Missi for Poeltl/Brown/future consideration? I'm honestly not sure what CJ's value is in todays market.
TBH, I thought the Pels were targeting a stretch 5 for Zion, though not sure who's available they can target.

Ideally they'd get a stretch-5 but just getting a credible starting option is more the necessity and their options seem rather limited.
IMO it's tough to run with Murray, McCollum and Ingram, so if Ingram is staying than CJ becomes the main trade asset. I don't see his value as that high, but they've got spare 1sts to add into a trade. Toronto does seem like a good target for a trade with Poeltl and Olynyk. Either one + Brown for CJ + 1st seems plausible.

Collins and Tre Jones for CJM, Hawkins and the NOP 2025 first? Over/under pay? I still am hurt that Dallas didn’t draft him?
Gives NOP about 5 million to spend in free agency and stay under the tax, or trade for a player into their MLE? Say Richards?

seems like an overpay by pelicans

Collins wasn't good enough to start on a 22-win team last year. He got benched halfway through the season and his extension is just kicking in.

I don't hate the fundamentals of a Ayton to NO, CJ to LAL, Dlo/Rui to Portland. Probably needs some value from LAL to NO but it seems workable.

Yeah, I think I am too high on him. Definitely and overshot the value. Really hated drafting DSJ over him.
But I think he was benched because him and Wemby didn’t work. Think SAS hoped they’d compliment each other enough to overlap - and they did not at all. So he became the backup center.
I didn’t watch enough SAS to really have an opinion. But I still think Collins offers a lot of what NOP needs.

Not interested in the LAL package.
