Would couple picks and role player be enough for him?

i think the Bulls would be happy to offload him for an expiring contract that wouldn't even play this season... his value is neutral to negative

I don't see anyone giving anything of value in order to get a declining Center who can't play defense. The Ship of trying to get for Vucevic have sailed a year ago.

I go with CLT taking him the cheapest. They could use the upgrade over Richards for when Mark is off.

Go back and forth from Richards/Martin/Micic for Vuc and whatever vet min to using Grant Williams where CLT gets off Grants final year and Chicago trims down Vuc’s two years..

Richards/Grant for Vuc would be mine.

Bulls' fan here-I think he's the biggest "empty stats" player in the league. He is consistent, plays every night and puts up 18/11/4 or so. I would guess his raw stats are #5 for centers (way behind Embiid, Joker, Bam and Sabonis)

But his shooting has declined (and was not good to start with) and his defense (other than rebounding-which is a strength) is really bad.

He'd be good in Memphis next to JJJ or I just saw a deal to send him to Hou to back up Senguin.

If Ballmer is willing to spend some tax, it makes sense to always have one of Zu/Vooch on the court.. Tucker/Bones type offer where Chicago just gets off the second year.

Though that really complicates whatever the Dunn sign and trade ends up being. And LAC still wouldn’t have a PF… So probably needs to involve a fourth team/Powell? Ugly..

But if Powell for Grant Williams and seconds? Best I got.

Either a younger PF with even a year longer contract (John Collins) than his 2 left, or a rebounding, defensive backup center to give them 20 minutes and a couple of 2nd round picks to make it look good.

The Bulls don't want to cash in big time, Vucevic isn't the negative that some 'experts' here like to pile on. The Bulls are aiming for a younger, running, transition lineup and Vuc doesn't fill the same role Jalen Smith does so what they can do with Vucevic in the lineup is different from what they want to do. The truth is there are several teams that if they started Vucevic they have PFs logging minutes at center who shouldn't be covering that position. He did put up 18/10 last year, go ahead and call that horrible and list what he didn't do but name the other centers who matched his 18/10.

I'd personally trade Niang and Okoro (S&T) for Vucevic.

You're actually trying to give up things to get a washed up Vucevic?

Can't see the Cavs going into the tax a year early for Vuc and I think they want to hang onto LeVert for another season so Travers, Bates, and Tyson can develop behind him.

D-Lo for Vucevic if the Lakers end up signing Gary Trent Jr?

Okoro if he signs his QO with Niang would be a tad bit more than Vucevic salary it wouldn’t put them into the 1st apron. Even if it did they could just cut Jerome as well.

Tucker, Westbrook and cash, possibly Bones Hyland for Nikola. Clippers add depth, Bulls clear future money and get to be the team to waive Westbrook so he can go to Denver or wherever

So now the Cavs are trading Okoro, going into the tax a year early, and cutting the only legit backup PG on the roster for Vuc?

Why would they go into the tax if they’re saving money on an annual rate? Also, Jerome probably ain’t seeing the floor over Porter plus Lavert and Mitchell are primary ball handlers besides Garland so Jerome being a “legit” backup point guard is borderline useless and irrelevant. Guy didn’t play a single minute last year

They're presently only obligated to pay Okoro the Q.O. and Niang his salary. Vuc makes $20M per

Yet Cleveland has lacked a legitimate backup PG ever since Rubio went down with the knee. I like Porter, but he does not stretch the floor. I'm very interested in seeing Jerome get some burn, assuming he can get/stay healthy.

They just drafted Jaylon Tyson as well who operates as a primary ball handler. I really just don’t see Jerome getting much burn if he even is on the roster to start the season.
