Mid Season Philly/Utah

Post#1 » by Saul Goodman » Tue Jul 16, 2024 4:29 pm

To Philly
Lauri markkanen

To Utah
Kelly Oubre
KJ Martin
Ricky Council
2026 LAC/OKC/HOU Least of 1st
2028 Philly 1st
2028 Clippers 1st
2029 Clippers/Philly swap
2030 swap

The 76ers do this to go all the way in. If Embiid and George somehow stay healthy they have the best team

Embiid/Markkanen/George/Martin/Maxey is unreal

Utah gets 5 1sts, two of which have top 10 upside with the clippers 1st and they get in poll position for Cooper Flagg
2016 GMAT Blazers

Howard/Nene/
Griffin/M.Leonard/T.Jones
Porter/Marc.Morris/J.Johnson
McCollum/Stauskas/Thompson/Seldon
Lillard/Bayless/DeColo

2 swaps, 2 picks in 2028, and a 2026 pick that is pretty much guaranteed to be mid. I think a lot of teams can and will beat that offer.

Will they though? No one has come close to offering even this yet.

Utah will end up just re-signing Lauri.

I think that’s too much to pay. Let that other team have him.

This won't work for salary matching. His salary this year will go up to abou 42 million after being renegotiated.

I still think it's lost on a lot of people that Lauri resigning is Utah's preferred outcome.

Lauri really kills the Sixers flexibility and will cost a fortune. I don't think they'll be interested.
