LAL trades: Rui, Vincent, Reddish, 2029 LAL FRP, 2025 LAL SRP
POR trades: Grant
LAL trades: DLO, JHS, unprotect 2027 LAL FRP, 2031 LAL FRP
UTA trades: Sexton and Kessler
LAL rotation:
Reaves/Vanderbilt/Grant/Lebron/AD
Sexton/Christie/Knecht/Wood/Kessler
Lakers bolster their championship odds by adding Grant, a versatile forward who can defend and score, fitting well with LeBron and AD. The acquisition of Sexton and Kessler adds depth and youth, strengthening the bench and addressing the hole at back up center.
Jazz secure a 2027 first-round pick and a 2028 pick swap, adding valuable draft capital. Bringing in Russell's expiring contract and JHS offers immediate and future roster options, maintaining their flexibility.
The Blazers pull the trigger on a framework that has been much discussed. They get off Grant's contract and get a future first when the Lakers are likely not competitive. Threw in a second for the Blazers to take on Vincent.

If the rumors are true, Utah already turned down 2 FRPs for Kessler.
I would be interested in what value you give each Sexton and Kessler in the trade.

Portland already has 15 players under contract so they'd have to move at least 2 players before the season. Delete Reddish from the deal, at minimum, and the Blazers will need more than a 2nd round pick as incentive to take on Vincent
is that 2029 first LA sends Portland unprotected?

We own that pick already. Unprotect the 27, unprotected 28 swap, and top 3 protected 29 1st

NOBODY is going to give you that kind of value for Kessler and Sexton.

Needed to include a minimum to make the salaries work. What about LAC's 2025 SRP as well? Vincent isn't total dead money, he can be a useful vet that can provide some POA defense. Would including JHS (as a replacement for Reddish) in lieu of the two 2nds better incentivize POR to take on Vincent?
Top 3 protected.

I think unprotecting 27 and a protected 31 1st is sufficient value.

Not seeing it as sufficient when we would want the 27 1st unprotected for Sexton and an unprotected pick for Kessler. We could care less about JHS.

They turned down picks that will convey as seconds.

I think Utah is still owed value. One first and taking off what little protections are on the 27 pick is a good start, but the rest of the package has no value to us. Afterward we'd have 4 guys on the roster who are primarily point guards

Extremely doubtful that the Jazz would agree with you.
