Utah out: Kessler, Sexton, Collins, and worst of its 25 1st round picks
Utah in: DLo, Vincent, Hachimura, unprotect 27, and top 3 protected 29 1st
LA out: DLo, Vincent, Hachimura, unprotect 27, and top 3 protected 29 1st
LA in: Kessler, Sexton, Collins, and worst or Utah 25 1sts
Why for Utah: TANK
Why for LA: Take on short term roster upgrades with LBJ. Get a late 1st back in 25 draft. They keep some swaps and a pick for another roster upgrade

The Lakers can't take back more in salary than they send out at this point, right?

Works on trade machine. I think it’s pretty close to same salary.

Fails on Fanspo. It's close, but it's over.

Utah could obviously eat filler.

Not sure I get adding both Kessler and Collins behind AD and LBJ given how little second apron room and needs LAL has..

AD is a 4 and Collins can fill in spells when he needs injury management.

I don’t know. AD was a four 2-4 years ago. And if you want AD at the four minutes, that’s why you’re trading for Kessler. And have Christian Wood..
You don’t need to bring in two bigs IMO. Especially, not two centers.
If you think AD/Collins/LBJ lineups work, I guess you can find minutes. But I’d rather pair the two stars with Vandy or Rui, or Kessler..

It's not bad but it's probably too much to pay for that fit for Lakers..
This is probably what could work.
Lakers get Sexton, Collins, Kessler
Jazz get Rui, DLo, Vincent, Hayes, unprotect LAL27FRP, LAL28swap

Kessler and John Collins will never work together in the same lineup which is why Utah was trying to stagger them as much as possible.

AD's a 5/4 at this point. It's good to have another center option, but adding two is overkill. Much simpler to take Collins out. The Lakers don't need him, there's an on-court role in Utah with Kessler out and his contract isn't a problem for Utah but is for LAL.
A Sexton + Kessler add would help LAL a bunch though and wouldn't be difficult to add in salary-wise
