Memphis trade: Aldama, 2026 top 4 protected swap rights w/ worse of OKC or PHI 1st
Memphis receive: Kessler

Philadelphia trade: KJ Martin (or just 2 random fillers), worse of 2026 PHI/OKC 1st
Philadelphia receive: Aldama

Utah trade: Kessler
Utah receive: KJ Martin, better of 2026 (MEM/worse of OKC or PHI) 1st

Why for Memphis: add big man insurance and save money next year
Why for Philly: fill PF hole with a young stretch-ish big
Why for Utah: get a 2026 pick for kessler

Add 2nd(s) as needed.. Waited until Aldama finally have a bad game in Olympics to post this :)

Kessler/Edey
JJJ/Clarke
Smart/GG
Bane/Kennard
Morant/Vince

Embiid/Drummond
Martin/Aldama
Oubre Jr/
George/Gordon
Maxey/Lowry

Kessler has 1 more cheap year left which gives him the edge imo

I would agree, but there is a solid chance that Aldama will double his value this season, in which case the Grizz would be able to buy 1.5 or 2 “Kesslers” at his price.

Based on what? Wishing?

I think Aldama is intriguing... But moreso as a trade piece than one that will help Memphis. They paid Clarke already. GG and Williams look solid and have years of rookie control. And that's just the bench guys that he's got to compete with there!

Outside looking in, it seems like he might have a hard time getting regular rotation minutes. The opportunity doesn't seem to be there, and that's not a positive indicator for future trade value in a contract year.

I don’t think Memphis wants even less shooting in the frontcourt. Aldama has a solid rotation spot as of right now with a chance to earn bigger minutes with good play. No way we trade for Kessler to play ahead of Edey, too much risk of messing with Edey’s mindset for not a lot of reward.

Grizz pass, if we trade Santi it will be for upgrade that fits our core.
