Dennis Schroder for John Konchar & Jake LaRavia

Grizzlies get a solid PG on a 1 year deal who can have a Tyus like effect off their bench & give Ja some extra rest when he's in his bag - they take on some salary this year but stay comfortably under the tax line

Morant - Bane - Smart - Clarke - Jackson Jr
Schroder - Williams Jr - Jackson - Aldama - Edey

Nets do this for LaRavia who holds a tonne of potential entering year 3 as a rangy long forward who's health has kept him out of the rotation, as well as Memphis' depth at the same spot - Konchar's deal isn't too bad - this deal gets them comfortably under the tax

Simmons - Thomas - Johnson - Finney-Smith - Claxton
Konchar - Williams - Bogdanovic - LaRavia - Sharpe

Borrklyn is owed compensation, even if Schoeder is valued only as expiring, they are taking on extra salary.

A 23 year old former 19th pick who has shown nothing doesn't hold a lot of potential.

Memphis would have gotten a backup pg of the Schroeder level should they had had such interest. It seems like they intend to rely on Smart, Bane and Vince in that role, not to mention Rose and SPJ.

We would have to send Rose too here to stay under the tax but then this trade does not leave enough room to even sign back our 14th player and stay under the tax. So really don't see this as as a viable option if Memphis is inclined to stay under the tax. Honestly don't think we need him regardless.

No interest from the Grizz end.
