Zach LaHawk, with Sac

Kings: Kevin Huerter for Clint Capela

Kings invest in a defensive big they can run behind and with Sabonis & lock up next off-season on a more cap friendly deal for the long-term - so the tax hit shouldn't be too crippling - also can offload Lyles if they wish

Fox - Ellis - DeRozan - Murray - Sabonis
Carter - Monk - McDaniels - Lyles - Capela

Bulls: Zach LaVine & 25 Protected POR 1st for Kevin Huerter & DeAndre Hunter

Bulls get some not so desireable contracts which still get them in a better position during the rebuild, as both players should have plenty time & opportunity rehabilitate their value

White - Giddey - Hunter - Williams - Vucevic
Ball - Duarte - Huerter - Buzelis - Smith

Hawks: Clint Capela & DeAndre Hunter for Zach LaVine & 25 Protected POR 1st

Hawks try a new backcourt partner who's deal aligns with Trae's - Zach's range & all-around game should make for a fine compliment there & elevate their ceiling

Young - Daniels - LaVine - Johnson - Okongwu
Bufkin - Bogdanovic - Risacher - Roddy - Nance

I don't really see the point here for Chicago. If the best they can do is giving up a 1st (even a heavily protected one) to swap LaVine for other bad contracts, they might as well just keep him.

Credit for coming up with something new.

Not good for the Bulls. Yeah Huerter is cheaper and fewer years than Lavine and he commands fewer minutes. Even if Lavine is off on a given night or a week, he's your highest paid player and having him pot on the bench will disrupt the organization. Huerter knows he just got traded, he's not a big part of the frachise so he can be upset but he can wait out being an expiring contract to get traded.

Hunter is the issue. He's a SF, the Bulls just extended Patrick Williams with the intent of him being the SF, they've seen him at the PF and decided that if they were keeping him he'd be a 3. Hunter is signed for too long which eliminates that plan. In addition Hunter is nearly as injury prone as Lavine so they've reduced the possible years and salary but at the same injury rate. What happens is if Coby White and/or Ayo Dosunmu keep improving they wold need big contacts and they just got Josh Giddey who is in line for a big deal and they just signed Williams for 5 years. They can't keep all four if they have Hunter taking up cap space.

The player abilities getting swapped are fine, even the contracts aren't awful but both are off an then when you ask the Bulls to shift the lineup they end up waking back the strategy they put in place during the summer for no huge benefit except they get rid of Lavine's contract. Not worth doing

I don't think the issue is the players for Chicago, I think it's giving up a 1st during a rebuild for players that are not in your future plans. You are better off just letting Lavine's contract run out. If ATL will do this without the 1st rounder, then Chicago might want to consider it but not to pay draft capital to move Zach.

This is why Lavine is still on Chicago

No from SAC. Not interested in tying that much cap space up in Cs.

This isn't good for the Hawks either for what it's worth.

I don't like Huerter, but I have less than zero interest in Capela.

Also cannot imagine ATL wants to go from Dejounte to LaVine.

I can't imagine how bad defensively the Young-LaVine combo would be, but it could be fun on offense. Don't think Chicago should care much about losing what is likely a second. But, even if it is a mid first this is fine for them. Sacramento should be cut out, Chicago is better off taking the savings.

you are correct we don't and i also don't understand why people keep trying to give us a SG in trades lately. We literally just picked up 2 of them in Dyson Daniels and Risacher is imo a better fit at SG than any position right now as well. We finally did the smart thing and got 2 guys who fits Traes style of play. Tall and long defensive off ball players/shooters. That can also handle the ball as well when needed or Trae is on the bench. Took forever for us to do it but we did it and now people keep wanting to give us ball hog no defensive guys to replace Murray when that didn't work and they are even worse defensively than murray is XD

Honestly the only real position the hawks could use a good upgrade at might be center to get a true big defensive Center in here that can still play some offense. Someone like AD would ofcourse be best case scenario in type of player that fits. But even someone like Ayton would fit trae well if Ayton locks in and plays up to his potential. Ayton did very well with Chris Paul imo and i think Trae's passing helps Ayton out alot.

Had me until "Ayton" and I really want a center with size

He's not my 1st choice either but i don't dislike the guy i thought he played quite well with Chris Paul. But anyone much better than him with a playstyle i think we need i don't see available sadly.

Cut the Kings out and send Capela to the Bulls so we can take Vucevic out of the starting position he thoroughly sucks at and let him slay bums off the bench.

Less than zero interest for the Kings. Capra does nothing but gum up the works.

And if the Bulls actually want to move off Levine, it’s gonna cost them a pick. That’s just fact.

As was mentioned in two spots above. Their best bet is either waiting for him to be an expiring or straight up expire, or to work out a palatable buyout.
