Simple 3 way trade here:

Hawks get:
Thybulle

Clippers get:
Nance Jr

Blazers get:
Tucker (CUT)
'25 second (from ATL via MIN)
'30 second (from LAC via UTAH possible swap)
'31 second (from LAC)

Thybulle would be excellent on the Hawks, especially playing next to Trae. Hawks primarily make this move to reposition talent on the roster.

Clippers make this move to upgrade overall talent. Tucker is cooked. Nance is a much better player when healthy, and would be excellent role player for the playoffs.

Blazers move off Thybulle for future trade assets. Tucker gets to see if there is a vet minimum contract he can find somewhere (or just retire 8-months early).

Hawks pass since I think they Hawks envision Dyson Daniels next to Trae to provide the defense with enough ball handling to fill that role.
Hawks would be thin at PF/C with only Jalen Johnson, Capela and Okongwu. I think Hawks would mix and match the combinations of Okongwu and Nance at PF and C and pair along will JJ and CC as needed.

I like it for Portland, though unless he is demanding it, I’d want to keep Tucker. Perfect vet that shouldn’t be demanding minutes, mentors a culture of toughness, and won’t hurt the tank.

Works for me but I would wager that ATL is hoping that Dyson takes the role that Thybulle would play in this scenario.
