Why do Jazz say no? Just so they can keep being 20 seed?

McBride has very little value to us because we don't need any more guards. Robinson, Dadiet, Washington 1st would be the deal with Clarkson and Kessler + maybe a 2nd coming back, but more likely it is just Dadiet and the Washington 1st and New York tries to flip Robinson when he is closer to a return to a team needing a center.

This probably passes as acceptable to the Jazz.

Im not sure Clarkson fits in NY...

Dadiet + Was first isn’t enough salary for NY, and adding a minimum leaves NY without room to add another player to round out the roster. Would need to include Precious.

The concept of adding a Robinson/Clarkson swap for NY lengthens the rotation for NY. Not the best fitting piece but a moveable contract.

The Knicks could had added Nick Richards into the KAT & Randle trade over having to over pay for Kessler by taking Clarkson.
Another way to look at Randle, DDV for KAT is telling Danny Boy to kiss their butt.
It seem the Knicks don't want to be involved in a hostage negotiation with Danny Ainge.
Danny Boy played himself again by over valuing his players. Robinson has more value than Clarkson, & Mcbride, Dadiet or WAS 1st Dadiet has more value Kessler.
