This is a deal that I'm super interested to see all the details. Incentives? Partial guarantees? Shams mentioned a player option, but is there also a team non-guarantee, etc?

Good on Green's agent for getting him to take this, another bad year and Green could have been in the 5m a year range.

Yeah, it's weird. I would have taken this to RFA if im houston.

We will have to wait for the bigger picture, but we will see how this affect Houston's cap situation long term. Still a number of dominos to fall.

Id certainly prefer this too Cade's contract.

Bad deal, don't see the point. Would have rather waited it out and maxed him next year if he earned it. I don't think he's earned this deal and if he does this next season he'll be ufa in two years after that. Boo.

Gotta double check. Since his extension doesn't kick in for a year, and it would be extending a 3 year contract (so eligible to extend), normally he'd be able to extend 2 years from signing this extension, so it's all kinds of weird.

this is still far more than he's worth. clear sign Houston is all in on him.
