Love this for Minnesota. Like it for Gobert.

Thrilled Wolves were able to make this happen. I hope the deal is front loaded too.

Connelly doing work. Great deal and cap management.

Good value for the Wolves. I assume that Rudy is happy with it as well. Nicely done.

I was expecting 4/160 or 3/135m. Gobert left money on table, lets see if it was worth it.

This does seem pretty reasonable, even team-friendly. Though he is getting a bit older so he might decline some which would make it less of a bargain.

Wolves made their choice then locked him down. And at a rate where maybe Naz can maybe stick around too. Good bit of work. Now they just need Edwards to become the player he already thinks he is.

Considering all the money thrown around yesterday in the league, getting him locked in at this number is wild!

So he opts out of 46,6M and his starting salary then should be around 34M for a 3/110M deal, right? Or even if he is signing a flat 36,66M per year deal, that should be enough room to get Naz Reid to sign an extension. Maybe he also opts out and signs a 3+1 PO deal for the maximum extension. Shouldn't that be close to a 4/90M deal? Sounds reasonable and he could opt out when he is 29 and sign his last big deal if everything goes right.

Great deal for the Wolves, now they have room Naz Reid raise and NAW under the 2nd Apron.

2 years 63.4 in new money. That is pretty reasonable for Minnesota.

Great value, effectively $64m/2 years

They will have about $65m to re-sign Randle/Naz/NAW

That seems plenty.

The 39.4 Million [~21%] of the cap in 2027-2028 is going to be difficult to work with for Minnesota.

The spacing between Randle and Gobert is going to be another instance of intrigue moving forward. Anthony Edwards working in the post is one of Minnesota's secret weapons moving forward and ANT continues to develop, but he can't do that with both Randle AND Gobert.

Objectively--good deal to lock-in a Top 5 defensive player in the NBA and a history of leading #1 type defenses on a consistent basis. Interesting to see Minnesota view the Gobert/ANT combination as the cornerstone of ANT's early prime [Think ages 22-26].
