Yes the Bulls clear their logjam at guard by trading 3 guys that aren't playing. In reality not the great strategy move

They get Zeller, journeyman at best last year being guaranteed. Boucher who for all of his career you're waiting for him to break into the rotation with serious minutes, Never seems to pan out now an expiring contract. One year out of 7 at over 22MPG and the same year his only one in double digit scoring.

OK the expiring contracts are fine but do you want those veterans taking away minutes from Jalen Smith, or the guy they bought a 2nd round pick to get Julian Phillips and their latest lottery selection Matas Buzelis?

This is the move to make IF there's a Vucevic trade you know is coming, which nobody sees.

Not that difficult. You trade from your thinnest position to get equivalent talents that play the positions you have the most depth.
