Coby to Spurs for Jones (maybe routed to a 3rd team), Wesley, and the Bulls get their 1st and 2nd round picks back
Coby is a good player-I like the kid and he's improved. BUT, the Bulls are going nowhere and we need a top pick. At some point in the next 3 years we'll be outside of the top 10/top 8/top 8 in the draft, and give SA a late lotto pick. I don't know much about Wesley-not sure what he's worth
Spurs plug in a nice fit on a cheap deal for 2 more years. He could start or be their 6th man and help Wemby

I don't see why the Spurs would overpay like this for White, who would just be a bench shooter for them

Re: CWhite to SA
I get it for the Bulls. Coby is pretty nice but they desperately need a franchise player to build their team around.
Spurs already have a few guys like Vassell and Keldon to fill 6th man type roles if they don't get dealt themselves. They are looking to add a #2 franchise player next to Wemby in the next 2 drafts so definitely won't be trading a potential lottery pick for a Coby level player.

Re: CWhite to SA
Haven't paid attention to the Spurs but with CP3 expiring, Castle signed for at least as long as Coby they have very long term Vassell plus Braham. Even if the have plenty of them why give up the pick for Coby who if he's peaked would be a short term 6th man or even if he continues to improve be in line for the big contract. He's sure never been on any kind of winning team so not bringing that.
The Bulls then have to look at still trading Lavine and Vucevic, what is coming back for them. They are getting 2 guards for one from SAS, they're giving up their 1 and 2 scorers it doesn't appear that Ayo and Williams are going to step up quickly to fill the points void. And the two big name deals require a center in return so it limits the teams they can move either to due to who has what the Bulls need back?

I'd be interested in this. On paper you can sell yourself into that pick being a better player than Coby White and it may be true (the pick can be as low as 11 this year and 9 the following 2), but Spurs have other picks (their own, Hawks') and I'd like some 'bird in hand' to go along all those 'in the bush' we already have. Some known quantity would be nice. Only thing that concerns me is his contract runs one more season beyond this one, and would be difficult to extend outright because of how low it is, but maybe a renegotiate-and-extend could be arranged?
As for Wesley, he was part of the 2022 draft class, he was drafted as a super raw prospect with promising physical tools, he's big for a PG (6'3" without shoes with a 6'9" wingspan) and he's blazing fast, works his ass off and is a great character kid, and he's only 21. His first season he was unplayable, a bricklaying, turnover machine who could (barely) tie his shoelaces.
Since then he's become a very promising defensive prospect whose playmaking has come a long way, but still needs to develop some offensive game to justify his presence on the court. At the moment he can score on fastbreaks and cuts, but he needs to add some way to score in the halfcourt (3, midrange, floater... anything, really), if he does he may become a really valuable player. If he doesn't he may be out of the league when his rookie contract expires.
