After 12-15
Williams 4 melton & ‘25 1st
Portland gets a first for time lord (melton expiring)
Warriors take the gamble that Williams can stay healthy come playoffs

Super interesting. I have to digest this one a bit.

What protections are we talking on the pick. With Timelord’s injury injury history, it would have to be substantial to make sense for GS

POR couldn’t say no to this.

Yeah I agree. Lotto protected or at least top 10.

An alternative option would be:
Melton + 2-2nds for Thybulle

If GSW is humming along like a contender and they feel good about their pick looking late and RW is showing good health, I could see it as a gamble worth taking for them.
For POR, I don't see RW ever fetching more than expiring money and a late 1st round pick because even if he's perfectly healthy at the time, no one will ever be able to count on it. So they should take it if offered.

I dont want to trade RWIII because that is a indication that Ayton is sticking around and I really dont want him to.
If Melton is done for the year something along the lines of Melton + ATL 26 or 28 SRP for MT would be nice.

Yes, RW3 is worth a 1st IMO. GS 1st would be mid\late 1st (fine with top 10 protection, turns into (2) 2nd's)

I don't see how any team could justify giving up a 1st rounder for him, even a late first rounder. This is his 7th year and he's missed 56% of the games. Even if he strings a couple good months together, you have to be nuts to count on him to survive the rest of the regular season and a long playoff run.

Great passer for a big. Just won't even really look at the basket unless it's a lob. Awesome dude hope he does well.

He's played 5 games so far. That doesn't erase his injury history and mean he's showing good health.
He needs to make it the deadline healthy before i would consider him worth a 1st

I dont think any team will trade a FRP for RWIII based on the injury history. Maybe a team with a surplus of FRP, but GSW aint that.
I also dont think PDX moves him for SRPs.

That seems crazy to me. The next time he gets any type of significant injury, he'll have negative value (assuming he's not there already). His next year is fully guaranteed and no team can plan on starting him regularly.

Too good a draft for a guy with this much injury history.

Lots of Hopium here. 2nds and expiring is the ceiling here for value. If I had to guess Portland will wait too long again and he gets hurt before they can even get that this season.

Too long?
He played 6 games with POR last year.
