De'Aaron Fox trade value

Say the Kings are well below .500 by the trade deadline and begin surveying the league for the value of some their key pieces. What would your team be willing to offer for Fox? If not your team, what's a fair and feasible offer you can think of?
The Lakers, for example, offer Reaves, DLO (expiring), Rui, JHS (expiring), and every tradeable pick and swap for Fox and Huerter.

All star almost all nba 2 way guard in his prime. Value is high. under contract for 2 years on a value contract.
A good young player/ prospect and 3/4 firsts, one of which has lotto potential, and most are unprotected.

Would have pretty good value at the deadline, but not crazy value.
Probably significantly less by next offseason, as he becomes an expiring contract.
Critical decision pending for Sac.

As a blazers fan I’d do a lot of nasty things to acquire him. Prefer him and scoot to any other guard situation we have going

FVV, Jabari, picks. Kings can continue to try to stay competitive because I don't they want to tank but also get a bunch of picks

This essentially just boils down to Reaves and 2 distant future firsts for Fox, which is a pretty weak offer for a guy of his caliber. Swap JHS for Knecht and you might get them to pick up the phone

This is the kind of offer I’d be interested in if I were looking to move Fox. Unless you’re trading Sabonis too, moving Fox for a rebuilding package just dooms you to late lotto purgatory for the foreseeable future

Yeah not the most attractive offer but probably the most my team would do, at least initially. I think Knecht would be a last resort. They would start with Reaves, every tradeable pick/swap, and volunteer to take on bad money from the Kings.

I think it could work out well, too. In the offseason they'd have all their future picks if their 2025 1st conveys (seems likely it will) so they'd have a package to trade for any star that becomes available. Smith is also a really nice fit with Sabonis.

Not really doing that here, though. You're basically giving them a slightly larger contract in Rui, on a player that's not really any better. It's an "improvement" right now on Huerter, but if Huerter bumps his shooting back up to anything but the career lows he has right now, then it's probably an even swap at best in terms of money for Sacramento? Maybe worse off? Complete toss up there, but it's not really a payment for Sacramento you think it might be? Offering Reaves and the picks are a solid start, but think you'd absolutely have to include Knecht. There's just not enough value there to get a Fox otherwise.

The Kings got a taste of being competitive after years of mediocrity. Trading their best player for lesser talent and picks they wouldn’t see for years puts them back at mediocrity. I don’t see that happening.

Agree with others: Fox has a high trade value, maybe that a good young player plus 3 or 4 picks/prospects
Orlando is an obvious destination

Initially I had Derozan in that slot instead of Huerter but figured the Kings would move him in a separate deal for whatever they could get. But yeah you both are right, probably begins with Reaves + Knecht and everything else the Lakers can offer.
I think Reaves, Knecht, DLO for Fox works salary wise.

VanVleet is almost 31 and Jabari needs to get paid next year and doing so on unrealized potential is a huge risk. I'd easily pass if I'm the Kings. No need to trade your all NBA caliber 26 year old PG on the cheap unless he demands to be traded, which hasn't happened.

Id move everyone but Fox and monk before I did this. Tell those boys we are trying something different. Surround them with as many shooters/defenders as possible using derozan/sabonis/carter/Murray.
That said if it was clear he was on the way out, a Blazers fan above said he wanted to pair scoot/Fox. I'd try something like
Shaedon, deni, salary (grant?) for fox, huerter.

Ya this offer does zero for me. FVV is older and worse than Fox, jabari isn't the headline asset to a deal. Maybe add Reed to get me interested.

Pairing Fox and Scoot is nonsense lol.
2 guys that need the ball in their hands - one who is quite a bit less effective playing off ball (Fox) and one that is near useless playing off ball (Scoot).

Are y'all ignoring the picks on purpose or?

Houston is currently sitting in 4th place in the league. Which pick am i supposed to get excited about? Jabari and late picks do not get me excited about trading fox.
