Magic do this trade because they don't need either of KCP and Goga but could benefit greatly from the swap option.

Lakers do this trade to balance their roster.

DLo, Max, Cam, Vando, Goga

With WCJ health, KCP vet presence and Magic being top 4 seed, I have this as highly improbable to pull off, value isn't there also.

dont need kcp or goga? what? magic pass pretty easy ..really do not see magic make a big move till next summer if then..a small trade maybe?

absurd from ORL perspective. Two starters from a better team than LAL for a swap, a backup, and a guy I forgot is in the league?

NYK gave it to ORL last night, but I'm guessing it won't trigger a sell off/rebuild.

they absolutely need Goga. blocks shots, rebounds, defends. Orlando isnt doing this to take on Vincent and a swap.

Agreed. No way the Magic do this. They are finally on the ascent and KCP is a valuable vet presence with championship pedigree.

Deal would hard cap LA at the 2nd apron for aggregating, and also hard cap the Lakers st the first apron for sending out more salary than they receive in the trade.

Even if the Lakers add salary in, you’d still have the second apron issue as neither Rui nor Vincent makes more than KCP, so LA has to aggregate here.

so confused why Orlando doesn't need two players who have been starting?

i can be convinced that they dont need KCP but they def need Goga for depth
