Where will Randle end up?

Big rumor is Minny wanting to move Randle.
Where do you think he goes?
option 1:
Was gets Randle
Minny gets Kuzma and Kispert
- could add picks either way and some of the bit players (separate trade due to rules but Davis for minimums or something like that).
Option 2:
Utah gets Randle
Minny gets Kessler, Collins, Sensabaugh
- Utah consolidates while Minny gets a replacement pf, a good backup center and a shooting forward.
Option 3:
Memphis gets Randle
Minny gets Smart and Clarke.
- Ehh?
Option 4:
Randle to Dallas for Pj and Gafford
- Ehh?
Thoughts on where he ends up?

Don't think any of the other teams do those deals except Washington who would be elated to get rid of two of the worst NBA players in Kuzma and Kispert.

Not in Dallas hopefully.
But Charlotte could make some sense if they wanted to try to stop a tank? Should just see it through again.
I think the Clips should, similar to how I thought Collins made sense there. But that desperately needs a third team.

I was one of the few that was all for a Collins trade, which would have involved Norm in the summer. However, with Stormin Norman showing out, and Mann not being eligible to be traded due to his extension, it's basically DoA. I guess unless they do Nico dirty and trade him away as well.
Hard pass on Randle though. As much as I hate it, Harden or Porter will be handling the rock 75-85% of the time and I just don't trust Julius to buy in

Much rather trade peanuts for Collins than more than peanuts for Randle

I have to imagine the Wolves would opt to let Randle just walk than take back all that salary.

I agree, and think the Wolves would much rather use the $30M that Rui/Vincent make in 2025-26 on Naz and NAW.

For the Pistons I'd do something centered around Tobias and filler for him.

Any trade that sends Randle out needs to start with a backup C for Rudy. Next a backup PF to replace Randle. One of them must be a value contract or a rookie scale contract. The Wolves would be made much worse by this trade and would rather stick with Randle or send him home than take back another teams trash.

If WAS cant put something together around Kuzma for Kuminga, its not a bad fallback

I think the most likely path is that Randle spends the rest of the season in MIN, and then is part of a sign-and-trade this summer to a destination he wants, with MIN taking back a minor asset and a smaller salary.
People like to crap all over Randle because of his low effort team defense, and I get that. But what he does, (score at the rim, and kick out for three’s), he does really well. He was All NBA in 2021 and 2023, and is averaging 6.7 / 4.0 / 21.0 and 35.6% 3P. $33 mil is not a bad contract, nor is his $31 mil player option.
MIN has the second highest payroll in the NBA. They don’t need to add players with multiple years

What about the Spurs? something around Collins/Jones? with some SRP to sweeten it?

Danny Ainge won't be trading anyone for peanuts. In fact, I'd bet he'll ask for more than whatever Minny wants for Randle. Not cause he's worth it of course but simply because Ainge gonna Ainge.

Something with Randle for Jerami Grant as the main ingredient, can add RWIII but would need capspace and some compensation for that, or Reath or Jabari Walker as a throw in

The market will be low for him when you have other 4s on trade block (Collins, Kuzma, Grant)
I’ve wondered about Miles Bridges + filler + pick for him. As the Hornets need more scoring help.

Absolutely no way Ainge agrees to this. Laughably bad.

I don’t hate that as much as I expected to hate it.

I think that would work in a 3 way.
Randle to TBD
???? to Portland
Grant to Minny

I wouldn't mind this one in a 3-way

As a Rocket fan, lol. I wouldn't hate Harden handling the rock at all considering the Clips roster though.
I feel like Randle would be such an excellent PnR fit with Harden
Tucker, Mann, DJJ and a 2031 top 7 protected swap option for Randle
I feel like that's not a bad price.
