Washington trade: Poole
Orlando trade: KCP
Why for Washington: save a good chunk of money, can probably spin KCP for expirings from other teams
Why for Orlando: give their offense a jolt in the arms

The Wizards don't need expirings. They have to spend money on someone, and I think in this case they'd rather spend it on Poole than KCP.

KCP is nothing like what WAS would want…
Cole Anthony (one more year then TO), Gary Harris (expiring), DEN 25 frp

If ORL offers this, WAS has to take it! That DEN 25 frp is now #19, not a bad pick.

Pretty terrible for Orl. KCP still has utility despite the start. Poole sucks, putting up numbers on a 3 win team doesnt all of a sudden take him out of worst contract in the league territory

Orlando needs elite IQ, shooting, and low turnovers to compliment the poor shooting/high(er) turnovers from Suggs & Black.
The answer to their problems is Brogdon, not Poole.
Brogdon for Cole, Harris, 1st (ORL or DEN) is probably fair value.

Yeah Brogdon makes more sense for the Magic. I would pass on Poole.

Washington might rather deal Brogdon so make the offer and let's get the deal done. Any vet contract for a 1st, that's our motto.

Poole's actually had a bit of a return to form this season, not just numbers-wise. He's been playing pretty well.
I don't hate it.
