Philly brought this guy over, he’s signed on a one year, $2 mil deal, the sixers fans like him but the Sixers season has unexpectedly gone down the tubes and so now what with Yabusele? What’s his value? Is Daryl gonna flip him for future draft assets? Is Philly gonna try to find a way to sign him long term come this summer ?
It seems for sure that some teams will be interested, how likely is it Philly moves him? Is his value equal expiring contract plus 2 seconds? Are there rumors about him being traded?
Yabu seems a pretty unique case coming into trade season

He is having a solid season and I am happy for him. Making the most of his opportunity on a team with lots of injuries. I don’t think he has a whole lot of trade value though. Perhaps a couple seconds or more likely one. I don’t think he gets much PT for a contender.

He’s a perfectly adequate reserve forward but he does not have any trade value.

Re: What’s the Deal with Guerschon Yabusele?
His contract status is a pretty big limiting factor on his trade value. As a rental role player, I just don't think he would bring back much.
Also, given the Sixers pick status, I don't imagine they'll be throwing in the towel any time soon on their season, and he's been a solid rotation piece for them.
I don't expect him to be traded. If he were... I dunno, maybe they get a 2nd or 2?

Re: What’s the Deal with Guerschon Yabusele?
I see DAL being interested as a backup 4/small ball 5 is sorely needed as the team just can't buy a win whenever PJ is out. Kleber's health has been extremely unreliable and he's terrified to shoot this season. Maybe Exum + SRP swap. Exum likely has to go as he probably has PTSD from being body slammed by Yabusele.

There should be interest from plenty of teams. The question is what Morey would want back. Yabu is probably worth more to Morey as a guy he can re-sign than a second rounder.

For Dallas, I’d give Philly back their 2nd for him and to take the risk that 1- he keeps it up (don’t expect he will though) and 2- being on the team makes him want to stick around for all/part of the taxMLE next year..
