Lakers get a defensive side with contender upside but injury concerns that allow them to protect the FRP they give.

Bulls get an FRP that will very likely convey for one that won't convey. They get a DLo expiring but take on Vando who is worth the money when healthy. Would fit well on Bulls in position and age.

Blazers get their pick back which helps their future flexibility with trades.

I would pass on this for POR.

I think we can do better than sending out an asset for a bad contract and what will likely be a SRP.

Maybe swap Por with Wizards and make it Jonas instead?

I would do it for the Blazers. Call me a homer, but I think they have a decent shot to make the playoffs within four years.

I agree with this. Perhaps the Blazers get the Lakers 2029 1st Round Pick and Chicago keeps the Blazers future pick.

Yeah I think they could after this years draft. I certainly think having the pick back will be valuable and it's not like they give up a lot in this trade to get the flexibility back.

Yeah the pick is good for the Bulls next VP of basketball, 4 years down the road, which is why I see them saying no. The rudderless ship PORT is has made that FRP nothing of value

Being honest Vanderbilt is paid too much for too long for still being all potential. He can put up the numbers a game at a time but only occasionally. The Bulls have Patrick Williams who while he's only shown flashes on offense he is there full time on defense, so do they need another guy to wait on?

Both expiring I would much rather keep Lonzo Ball as a team oriented guy who realizes he's coming back from a devastating injury and will do what the team needs over DLo who seems selfish and would likely be showing off for his next contract.
