Bulls get BI

Even though the Bulls are better than we thought, I still want them to deal Lavine/Vuc/CWhite and start over

BUT-I don't think our FO/owners are interested (making a great profit now, being a playin team), so how about an upgrade

Bulls send Giddy, CWhite, LBall to NO
NO sends BI and Hawkins to Bulls, plus the bulls get their 2027 2nd back

Bulls get WAY better on defense-honestly, for me losing Lonzo is the most painful of the 3. He looks good (except is 3 ball) coming back. Maybe NO sends him to a contender for an expiring deal and some draft capital.

Ayo/JCarter/THT
Lavine/Hawkins/Duarte
BI/Matas/Terry
PWill/Phillips/Craig
Vuc/Smith

If BI regains his All Star form, that's a decent team-Bulls can offer BI a fair 2 or 3 year deal if everything goes well, or he walks. Once our 2025 #16 pick goes to SA, Bulls have a slight pick surplus, with the future possible Port pick
.
NO gets Giddy and White to add to Missi, Murphy, Jones and restart the club next year. Not sure what they do with Zion, but CJ is expiring next year and Murray is still relatively young

This is interesting. My immediate thought from the Pels' side is White is the main interesting piece, but some of his value is offset by giving up Hawkins. Then I don't think they'd have much interest in Giddey, but I get it from a distressed asset exchange viewpoint. Ball would have to be flipped to 3rd team.

I like the idea of Pat Williams and maybe J. Smith in place of Giddey/Ball. White + PWill for Ingram + Hawkins framework some merit.

Murray, Coby, Herb, Zion, Missi
Lonzo, CJ, Giddey, TM3, Theis
Alvarado

I don't think this makes sense for Pels.

How would Bulls feel about this:

Bulls get Ingram, CJ, Theis, CHI27SRP
Ball, Coby, Buz, Ingram, Vuc -- Ayo, CJ, Giddey, Craig, Theis

Pelicans get PatWill, LaVine, Smith
Murray, LaVine, Herb, Zion, Missi -- Alvarado, Hawkins, TM3, PatWill, Smith

I would feel incredibly horrible, there's no reason for Chicago to do this.

Getting off LaVine's deal means nothing if this is the result.

I'd rather just ride the wave we are on.
