OKC out: Ousmane Dieng, Nikola Topic, Dillon Jones
OKC in: Colin Sexton, Drew Eubanks (room exc), 2025 CLE 1st

Thunder get an offensive weapon at the guard spot and a depth big.

UTA out: Colin Sexton, Drew Eubanks, 2025 CLE 1st
UTA in: Ousmane Dieng, Nikola Topic, Dillon Jones

Jazz pick up prospects for a player without a long term fit with the team.

Who is sexton taking minutes from though? Guards seem pretty saturated with

Shai
Caruso
Cason
Joe
Wiggins

I think sexton also wants to start/play 30+ min for his next contract

So you feel they need a first to unload Sextons contract?

Yeah the playoff roster is showing that you have to play Jalen/Dort at the backup PF just to get everyone minutes who should:
SGA (40) | Cason (8)
Cason (16) | Caruso (14) | Joe/Wiggins (18)
Jalen (38) | Caruso (10)
Chet (14) | Dort (34)
iHart (28) | Chet (20)

Next Thunder trade will be for a wing on a good long contract.

I think Isaac would be a guy they'd monitor closely.

OP thinks Topic > 2025 CLE 1st

I can see the argument but I'd rsther just keep the pick.

OKC isn't owed a 1st, they shouldn't trade for one anyway since they have 3-4 next year and no roster spots...

Minus the pick I might do it. Or include it but offset it by OKC giving back the Jazz pick that's highly unlikely to convey anyway; gives Utah some flexibility is all.

The Jazz should do this. Dieng could actually show something and you're basically red shirting Topic.

Jazz might be higher on that Cleveland first over topic .

Not sure if we can fit in enough minutes for sexton but OKC need someone who can score .

Fair value I think but disagree with the target of Sexton and Utah would not be that compelled to send a 1st for Topic. Dieng, maybe is worth a bit, but he's injured and has played poorly.... He's gettable without this other stuff here.

Sexton helps OKC's offense but where does he slot in on the depth chart, as others have noted ?
