Demar to GSW, Isaac to Sac?

Probably a bad spin on the idea.

Feel like Sac probably owes value. But couldn’t decide.

Orlando: Isaac, Jett, Houstan
Orlando: Lyles, Payton, Schroeder, 2025 GSW first (top 8 protected)

Orlando gets a vet stopgap PG and a first round pick for Isaac. Lyles fills some minutes.

Sac: Demar, Lyles, Ellis
Sac: Isaac, Kyle Anderson, Houstan

Sac gets one of the better fitting fours in the league next to Sabonis.. This does seem to push them barely over the tax this season, but they can pay Detroit/Washington/Toronto cash to take any one of their minimum guys and finish the season with 14 players and some call ups..

GSW: Anderson, Schroeder, Payton, 2025 first (top 8 protected 3x)
GSW: Ellis, Demar, Howard

GSW flips their newly received Schroeder for a more reliable offense creator. Ellis comes in to play the role Payton used to play. Howard was overdrafted but does have some potential, really just in to make the money work.

Due to aggregation, this would end up looking like Dennis to Orlando, Jett to GSW, Houstan to Sac followed by the bigger trade with GSW being far enough under the apron at that point. Seems legal?

No interest interest in Demar much less for a pick.

Honestly how does Isaac have anything but extremely negative value with that contract. His production is terrible and he has averaged less than 40 games a season so far in his career.

i would have no interest in trading Isaac, but also dont think Schroder is a good fit with Paolo and Franz. The pick is nice, but the Magic already have 2 1sts. I want the Magic to trade one of those picks to get a guard that can shoot.

His contract is about the MLE after this season. And his offensive production is terrible, but you don’t trade for him for his offense.

..if he played 75 games a year, I’d guess he would make about 8-10 mil more a year. He is on the MLE sized contract because of the injury risk..

If like last year/this year he ends the year healthy and builds off of the 58 regular season 7 playoff games last year, all of a sudden he becomes a crazy bargain and wouldn’t be available for Demar obviously.

Similar to looking at Caruso’s PPG and saying his production is terrible though.

DeMarr is interesting, but not at the price of a first or Schroder, who even if he's not been great is a need. They need someone to run the offense in the non-Steph minutes and Podz ain't the guy

Not sure about the value, but couldn’t Demar help with that?

But I do understand wanting to keep the new guy. Salaries just don’t work without Dennis realistically.

Did feel like GSW was paying top dollar and Sac owed some value back, just couldn’t figure out how to add outside of Ellis. A stack of 2nds doesn’t sound exciting when your window is Curry.

Don’t really see DeMarr as a run the offense kind of guy, but I see what you’re saying regarding making the $$ work. Just fills some holes to open back some old ones back up.

Kings are going to solve their problems by trading for JI…and his couple dozen games played per year?
