Presti and Morey manage to do a lot of deals together. Let’s see if this is another potentially.
OKC out: Ousmane Dieng, Dillon Jones, 2025 PHI 1st changed to lotto/top 4/top 4
OKC in: KJ Martin, Gershon Yabusele, Kyle Lowry
Thunder get some contributors to a title run.
PHI out: KJ Martin, Gershon Yabusele, Kyle Lowry
PHI in: Ousmane Dieng, Dillon Jones, 2025 PHI 1st changed to lotto/top 4/top 4
Philly currently owes a pick that is 6/4/4 protected. They look like they could finish mid to late lotto, so this protects the pick for a year at the expense of a couple role players.

If this is legal, it would be a really interesting trick to keep distant firsts. If your team owed a first dependent on this first conveying, just pay enough to make sure it doesn’t convey and keep your future first..
Think Philly expects to make up the ground and be in the 5th/6th seed by end of season, but still would be a good bet for them just in case.
Wonder if Philly could add a future first and end up with a player better than what they send out and protecting themselves in case they do end up in play-in, they’ve got some room below the second apron to fill the roster back up after

This is a question for Philly fans, as Embiid gets older and his injury issues persist, do you see yourselves as buyers or seller? I ask because this trade is a seller trade, and I think of Philly as buyers right now. I almost wonder about a PG out kinda deal returning a better fitting 3rd star assuming PG cannot get it together by the deadline. Then again, if Philly wants to sell and build around Maxey and some new process players maybe the move is to trade Embiid before any more miles get on those tires?

Reasonable target which doesn’t cost much anyway but just a matter of if Philly want to sell off their players. They are likely to keep winning now and at least goes to 5-8 spot by end of season. Assuming similar availability from Embiid and PG compared to past seasons.

No interest from a Philly prospective. The east is week the Sixers can contend as is.

I know it looks bad rn but the east is so poo outside of the top couple of teams I can't see Philly selling at all, one good month can get them to like 7th

I don't see the Sixers becoming sellers.
I also don't see the Thunder giving up the upside of that pick as it currently stands for... Well, pretty much just Yabusele. Don't really see a role for Martin or Lowry on that team.

OKC gets Brogdon, Yabusele, and 26 1st returned
PHI gets Aaron Wiggins and 25 pick protection expanded to lottery
WSH gets Joe, KJ Martin, Gordon, and 3 2nds from PHI
