Cleveland: Niang, Travers, Porter, and a 2nd

Denver: Saric, Watson, and Tyson

Cavs: Take a shot on a young wing player

Denver: Get a PF who can be useful next to Jokic. Allocate backup depth better with Porter who’s young and locked in.

Nothing here worth Denver putting Watson in. Niang is a big traffic cone, not seeing the fit.

Not going to mess with the Cavs’ chemistry for this.

While I agree with the general no-go sentiment, Niang does provide something that Denver sorely lacks, 3 point shooting.

Agreed. I get the concern that Niang might not be playable in the playoffs, but Im not convinced Saric is either.

And if you look a bit closer, focusing on Denver being dead last in the league in 3PAs, Niang would be tied for third (Jokic), while only averaging 20.9MPG this season.

Yes, you are right, but I don't think if he was playing in Denver he would get as many 3pt shots he is shooting now. It is not their style. They prefer "good shots" or "open shots" from wherever. Jokic, Murray, MPJ and Strawther are all great 3pt shooters who can increse 3pt shooting volume if they change their style.
