HAWKS
In:Ayton/Banton(TPE)/Reath(TPE)
Out:Capela/Nance/Zeller
Ayton/OO/Reath
Johnson/Rody
Hunter/Risacher/Krejci
Daniels/Bogdan /Mathews
Trae/Banton/Bufkin
they improve in the center position,..risky bet but Ayton looked very good when he played with an elite playmaker..worst case scenario, next year expires and he also gets a couple of role players in position of need for a playoff run this year..
CLIPPERS
In:Nance
Out:Tucker+2 SRP
get a playable veteran for a couple of SRP
BLAZERS
In:Tucker(Cut?)/Capela/Zeller(Cut)+ 2 SRP
Out:Ayton/Reath/Banton
Save tons of money next year and get small assets
thought?

Re: Hawks/Blazers and Clippers?
Seems really bad for Atlanta. Ayton isn't more impactful than Capela/Nance. This is just causing tax/apron issues next year for no gain.
Portland does this as fast as humanly possible while giggling.

Wouldn’t that be nice.
Ayton is a nothing with a contract his play will never justify.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Re: Hawks/Blazers and Clippers?
I mean Capela has value to teams like the Suns and Lakers so if the Hawks would do this (they won't), he should be shipped out for a guy like Nurkic and draft capital.
Capela is a pretty important part of the Hawks best 5-man unit which speaks more to OO's limitations as a rim protector than Capela's game at his age.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Re: Hawks/Blazers and Clippers?
Blazers say yes.
They ask if Hawks prefer one of the 2nds in place of Banton, but definitely not a deal breaker for Portland.
If Tucker is willing to play the vet mentor role, I’d prefer to keep him over cutting him.
