Multiple trades built together - Kings, Lakers, Utah, Wizards

This is really a few different trades presented as one for simplicity. Saw in another post that a Lakers fan mentioned adding a backup guard who can replace DLO and a backup center, with that in mind -

Kings clearly owe some 2nds here. Is more needed?

Lakers out: Rui, Wood, JHS, Vincent, 2nds?
Lakers In: JVal, Derozan

Lakers add more talent to the squad. Another bucket getter, and a big to help out.
Reaves - Christie - DFS - Lebron - AD
DeRozan - Reddish - Knecht - JVal

Utah out: Collins
Utah In: Wood, JHS, Huerter, 2nds

Why for Utah? Expirings + Huerter + picks. Save money for next year, and get a few 2nds

Wizards out: JVal
Wizards in: Vincent, 2nds

Why for Washington? Sell Jval for some 2nds. Vincent can play over there, rehab some value and get flipped next year as an expiring.

Kings out: Derozan, Huerter, 2nds
Kings in: Collins, Rui

Why for Sac? Get two guards gone, and add two forwards to the squad.
Fox - Keon - Keegan - Rui - Sabonis
Monk - Carter - Collins

Meh.

I’d be fine with it but I’m just not sure about what kind of actual impact either Rui or Collins will have. Neither is a huge plus defender even though they add actual size to the lineup and Rui is good as a stretch with his 3pt shooting.

I'm fine with it for Utah. Collins is hurting the tank and some seconds for him seems fine. I'm not sure I love DeRozan for LAL, especially with Val. They just tried to improve their defense, now they make it much worse. Seems fine for Washington and fine for Sacramento. I'm just not sure what to do w/the DeRozan park, because that is the issue here in terms of fit (but not value).

That's fair. A lakers fan above seems to agree.

What about swapping the Lakers for the Clippers.

Clippers get Jval, Derozan
Clippers send Tucker to Washington (better for Washington)
Mann to Sacramento
Bones and Bamba to Utah as expirings

Clippers would be
Harden - Powell - DJJ - Kawhi - Zubac
Dunn - Derozan - Batum - JVal

Seems like that would work maybe better for all parties involved.

I think LAC makes a little more sense for DeRozan.

I'm in the minority among Jazz fans here, but I'd prefer to hold on to Collins instead.

PG: Reaves (36) | Christie (12)
SG: DeMar (30) | Christie (18)
SF: DFS (36) | Vando (12)
PF: LeBron (36) | Davis (12)
C : Davis (26) | Val (22)

Yeah it's a stretch, I think DeMar for Rui type trade could work but need a stretch big.

Feel like it would have to be one of Demar or Val to be saved from LAL side. Probably Val, DD didn't want to come off bench for Kings. Not sure he wants to in LA

Yeah, Clippers aren't giving up a pair of seconds (not that they even have straight out) for DeRozan. Let alone j. A movie that helps out divisional rival by giving them a defensive wing, to boot

Don't care about the 2nds, kings could cover those.

That said, does divisional rival thing actually matter? Doesn't feel like kings and clippers have a rivalry or anything.

If LAC thought demar>Mann then I think they pull the trigger. I think it helps them, but I've watched a handful of clippers games.
