Heat trade: Kevin Love (2x$4m) & Alec Burks (1x$2m)
Lakers trade: Cam Reddish (1x$2m) & Jalen Hood-Shifino (1x$4m)
Miami adds Cam who will find a role defending the all-star wing loaded Eastern conference
They get off the Love's deal next year
Take a flyer on JHS who's potential is worth a good look
Herro / Robinson / Butler / Highsmith / Adebayo
Rozier / Hood-Shifino / Richardson / Reddish / Jaquez / Jovic / Ware
LA finally brings Love home, reuniting with family & friends
Any rebounding and shooting he adds would be a plus
Burks is more insurance in case of injury & can battle Vincent & Milton for those minutes
Reaves / Christie / Hachimura / James / Davis
Vincent / Milton / Burks / Knecht / Finney-Smith / Vanderbilt / Love / Hayes

Re: K Love to LAL
I don't see Miami doing this without incentive, and Riley doesn't really value 2nds.

I don't see why Miami bothers with this unless Love wants to leave, but I see no reason to include Burks, a player we like, to make this happen.

Agreed. I don't see any incentive for the Heat here.

... NO, YOU MOVE."

Re: K Love to LAL
I'm surprised that people think this trade favors the Heat, the only player who could maybe stay on the floor in the playoffs is Reddish.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

It's nice to get Lebron someone his age to play with.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Can he, though?

I don’t mind it. I’m not adding incentive for love though. Especially if Riley doesnt care for seconds.
