LAL/CHI

Post#1 » by KuzControl » Mon Jan 6, 2025 5:00 pm

LAL get: Nikola Vucevic, Torrey Craig

CHI get: Rui Hachimura, Christian Wood, Jalen Hood-Schifino, 2025 LAL 2nd, 2025 LAC 2nd

Why for LAL: get a rebounding/scoring upgrade

Why for CHI: get some draft capital whilst still getting a slight asset in Rui, get to tank better, get off of 3mil this year

good for the Bulls, not great. I'd have to ask for Jaxson Hayes over JHS, the Bulls have less than zero need for another guard and 3 for 2 they have to cut somebody loose. If they're going to cut/sell/bounce Duarte then they might as well be getting a center to add to Smith and Wood. Lakers are getting a durable Vucevic and have AD.

I think the Bulls should hold out for a protected first rounder if they are stuck with Rui's contract.

I think Bulls would want Rui.

He's a big wing shooting 42% from 3 with significant minutes.

Plus he's an expiring contract as soon as this coming offseason, so not exactly stuck with him for long.
