CWhite Offers?

The Bulls are a bit below average, as they've been for a while. Lavine and Vuc are playing really well, and are most likely to be moved (plus Craig, who's a cheap vet)

Once Ayo is back, the Bulls should start him. Coby and Giddy starting kills our D. Lavine is actually the best defender in the starting lineup now, since PWill has regressed.

But, instead of dumping Vuc/Lavine cheaply, who might be interested in Coby? He's a good kid who's improved but his defense is weak (was better for a long stretch last year, but he's fallen back into bad habits). His deal is cheap thru next year and he's a perfect 6th man

I think Det, Orl, SA, Char, Minny would all have real interest. Anyone else? What would you offer?

Bulls (assuming we get a pick back and not a rotation piece) end up with this lineup
Ayo/Ball/Carter
Lavine/Ball/THT/Duarte
Giddy/Matas/Terry
PWill/Phillips/Craig
Vuc/Smith

My favorite is SA, so we can get our pick back, or Orl for Harris/Howard/Den pick

Yeah Id do Harris/Howard and the Denver 1st. Make it the better of the Nuggets/Magic pick id still do that.

Detroit will take him if you are just giving him away, but we are talking 2nds not a first. We don't have late 1sts to play with.

I was starting to see a point there until you tried to tell people that defensively Lavine is the best starter they have. He's a virtual I-Pass and switching to contest any shot in the lane is a foreign language to him. Does Zach ever get into foul trouble? No because he doesn't rotate to the ball and have to stop an open player in the lane. Stacey King doesn't like to call him out because he's the closest thing to an all star they have but he did call him out a couple of times against IND because it was so awful on the way to being down 34.

Nobody is going to give up much to get White because while he's a pretty complete player, he's still streaky game to game on his shooting and he's extension eligible next summer then he's UFA. The Bulls like that he's improved the last 2 years, he's good in the locker room, why does another team think he's worth big money without showing he can be more consistent? Most teams have a younger guy they can hope for for less money of they have draft picks to use.

The best bet for the Bulls, and the same goes for Ayo, is to hold onto Coby for a decent contract and hope it clicks and he makes that next jump or becomes more consistent, rather than take somebody else's maybe or drafting kids and waiting on them.

Not sure why CHI would move him for scraps at this point.

Sold-I think you guys would like him a lot, and he'd fit there. He's a great kid and works hard, and you have tons of defenders.

Don't want Anthony-want to clear the salary spot, and I prefer keeping Ayo longterm over Coby. I know Howard doesn't look like he'll become a player, but there's some talent there (which overlaps with the kid you drafted this year-who looks better).

I like Coby White, but Spurs have bigger priorities and I'd like to see first if a more important deal comes by that requires the Bulls pick. If there isn't a better option (like Fox) or a good prospect available then sure, I'd seriously consider this. But it wouldn't be my first option so I'd wait until draft night before pulling the trigger on any such deal.

Spurs aren't trading anything of consequence for a back-up guard. Nor are most teams tbh.

Yeah he'd be a nice fit off the bench I think. He'll play less minutes and with a good defensive coach and other guards that can defend, he'll be fine IMO.

I do think it would be a good idea for the Bulls to sell high on Coby. If they like the 2025 draft enough they should do this trade. Best move for the Bulls would be to blow it up completely IMO.

The Magic can dump Cole in the offseason. He'd be on an expiring contract so probably wont cost much to move. I still think Howard will be a player. He's got some tools to be a good offensive player. He just needs to go to another team. He needs playing time and touches to develop and he's not getting that in Orlando. His defense is improving but still not good. Its difficult for the Magic to try to win with a very young core while also developing other prospects like Black, Howard, Da Silva. They got two more picks in 2025 and I dont see how they can add two more rookies next year, so I think a trade makes sense.

i do not see magic giving jett and a first and exp money thats just to rich ..they would rather ride out cole and jett

also come playoff time will be kcp, suggs and black as only guards seeing playing time

This is how I see it. White would be really nice as their 3rd guard
Bulls take a step back and hopefully keep their pick. Howard can play plenty for us
Adding a #22 pick could be a big help
