Uses some Piston cap space but to improve rather than pick up assets.
Pistons trade: Fontecchio/28 MIA 2nd
Pistons get: Brogdon
Clippers trade: Tucker/31 LAC 2nd
Clippers get: Fontecchio
Wizards trade: Brogdon
Wizards get: Tucker(buy out)/28 MIA 2nd/31 LAC 2nd
Wizards save a prorated $10M(maybe they gain a bit more in a buy out?) plus pick up two future 2nds
Clippers duck the tax and pick up a bench shooter
Wizards solve the need for another PG at a cheap cost and really push to get Cade and the guys some playoff experience.

Love it! Looks perfect to me. This kind of deal would be perfect for Detroit to maximize what these guys are doing right now
Not sure how much it helps us next summer by getting out of Fontecchios 2nd year but I like it
Duren Stew
Tobias Ausar
THJr Holland
Cade Beasley Brogdan backcourt

Minor note i think pistons only have 14M (incoming extra14.8M in OP?) capspace so they need to send out Moore Jr or Reed too
If they are going this route with their capspace then they should consider THJ/filler as mentioned above + 2nd for Brown too imo

Good catch. Should be easily doable.
Speaking to the min contract going out. No comment on the THJ/Brown portion.

Spotrac shows this failing since Detroit has only $14 million in cap space, but need $15 million.

Wiz accept.
While the return is lighter than we anticipated, we can create a 22M TPE that will allow us to extract value in a future trade.

Not really If you want to have capspace this offseason

We don’t want or need cap space this summer.
That said, I meant the near future. Like a follow in trade before the deadline.

Love the Courtney Lee TPE. Like this trade a lot for LAC/DET
Moore for Gill changes nothing IMO

Reed won’t be tradeable thus year because of the waiver and re-signing.
Edit: Solid catch, though.
