Suns get Hachimura, Christie, Vanderbilt, Vincent, Hood-Schifino
The strategy is 1) instant depth and 2) to break down Beal's contract to smaller contracts that become easier to match, and 3) attach draft picks in the coming years for upgrades as they become available to the Suns.
T. Jones
Booker
Allen
Durant
Nurkic
Lakers get Beal, Bol Bol, Ighodaro
Lakers add a legit 3rd option without losing a single integral player, returning to the superteam model. Money is no object. Beal can be a fun toy for Redick.
Reaves
Beal
DFS
LeBron

The Suns really need rim protection. Would it be possible to rope in Charlotte, Max Christie & Plumlee for Nick Richards?

This would increase the Suns cap savings to 7.9 million plus tax.

2nd apron team cannot agregate contract in trade.
outgoing for PHX must be beal only with no other player.

With Vandy/Vincent included - maybe LAL can’t demand a decent asset.. Don’t like the loss for them but they might be the best destination really..
I don’t think LAL or Phoenix would trade Christie for Richards.

Off subject…but did you jump ship from CHA to BOS?

Just two teams…couldn’t they turn it into two separate trades?
I’m all for strapping LAL into PHX’s mess

No, I've been mocking bandwagon fans the past 2 championships. Before changing my profile to Celtics I had changed it to the Nuggets. Even within a series I may change allegiance if my team is down big in a hole 0-3 or 1-3. I flip and I flop with great passion.
I'm a Hornets fan.

I see, so they'd just cut Bol Bol and the other guy.

What about if the Hornets include 32 and/or 34?
Suns could use those cheap contracts, and they don't have a draft pick.
They really need rim protection.

If the Suns can dump Beal without giving up KD, Booker, or draft picks they should take the deal before the Lakers wise up.

If, by they, you mean Phoenix, then that's correct.
But this trade, unless it loops in Miami, ends Phoenix's pursuit of Jimmy Butler.

Yes, I mean Suns, for roster spots.
I think moreso than rehoming Beal, competing bids for Butler already ended the Suns pursuit of Jimmy.

Wouldn’t PHX need to include a pick here? Getting out of that albatross is going to cost.

Players can be traded together, without being aggregated. Aggregation means when the salaries are combined to acquire other players that each player couldn’t have acquired otherwise.
In this case, Beal’s contract is big enough to return everyone on its own (rough math), while Bol and Oso would just be traded out on their own.
Remember, each team in the same trade are allowed to “organize” the trade however best suits their cap needs.
So, in this case, it appears there’s no aggregation. Just combination. Which is different.

After getting burned by the Westbrook deal I highly doubt Lakers go down that same route with Beal. They already lack depth. Not to mention the Buss Family is one of the "poor" NBA owners. I would be shocked if they took Beal's contract. Also they already showed their hand by acquiring DFS. They will likely try to add 1-2 roleplayers before the deadline.
Clippers are owned by a mega billionaire but it's basically the same story with them. They don't have enough depth to trade so many players for Beal. They already showed their hand too by just letting PG walk in the offseason. They are another team that will likely try to add 1-2 roleplayers by the deadline assuming Kawhi stays healthy.
