Magic/Kings/Bulls/Heat everyone happy?

MAGIC
In:Lavine/Craig
Out:KCP/Isaak/worse Magic/Denver FRP25
Suggs/Lavine/Wagner/Paolo/Bitadze
Cole/Harris/Howard/Da Silva/WCJ
C.Josep/Black/Houston/Craig/Mo
This is a contender this year, Zach fits perfectly next to Paolo/Franz.. Lavine only has next year left (before Paolo's extension) and then PO... which he could possibly reject to sign a longer and more coherent contract.. Isaak+KCP will make only 6 million less than Zach next year...and they could still move Cole...so money shouldn't be a problem.
KINGS
In:Isaak
Out:Lyles/Huerter
Fox/DDR/Murray/Isaak/Sabonis
Carter/Monk/Ellis/Crowder/Lenn
Isaak is the perfect fit next to Sabonis (at least on paper)...gives them the size and a DPOY level player they need
BULLS
In: Huerter/Rozier/Denver or Magic FRP/2 SRP Heat
Out:Lavine/Craig/THT
Bulls finally trade Zach, get some picks and free up a ton of space for 2026, this trade should help them tank and keep their pick this year
HEAT
In:KCP/THT
Out:Rozier/2 SRP
regardless of what happens with Butler..(I think they will end up with a star in his place, Ingram or Lauri is my bet..just guesses though) either way they will remain competitive..they get a good fit for Herro in the backcourt.
thought?? The Heat might be out of place in this trade...any ideas on which team might be a better fit?

With respect, Miami passes, even though we're stealing value here. We have a goal of cap space in 2026. KCP has a player option for that year and I can't see us compromising that for a role player.

Would Det take KCP for hardaway, some cap space and a 2nd?

I was thinking more about a contender, maybe the Cavs? I think they have the contracts to make it work

The Bulls are fine with Huerter kind of a 2nd tier Lavine, the picks are very good not great. But no way they take on another $24M year of Terry Rozier who they have absolutely no use for. They're better off keeping a starting $44M Lavine than Rozier who is behind Huerter, Giddey, White, Dosunmu. Better to bring back Ball at whatever price to make a huge difference. Instead of Rozie0,r any starting PF at that price would be acceptable but not a bench guard.
Bulls, no

Please just stop with the constant refrain of how great Isaac would look next to Sabonis.
We get that but it’s not reality with a guy who cannot play more than 20 mpg and HOPEFULLY doesn’t get hurt again and miss two years.
There are a couple of loud mouths amongst Sac fans who are in love with what Isaac would be if he could play starter minutes 75+ games per year.
The rest of us understand that’s a pipe dream that likely will never happen and there is no point in giving up any assets for him.
Pass every time on any Isaac deal that doesn’t basically give him to us for nothing.

Very easy yes for SAC.
We’re arguably giving up a negative value package for Isaac.

That’s exactly what this trade is for SAC.

when did lavine go to a positive contract?
the package Magic sends is neutral at best in my opinion...and Lavine is clearly the best player with the shortest contract

Being the best player in a trade doesn’t always equal most trade value.
Orlando isn’t trading a 1st for Lavine in any iteration because he simply does not carry that kind of trade value at this point (if he did he would have been dealt a very long time ago).
As Joe mentioned, Isaac remaining years are non guaranteed and also has an exhibit 3 on his knee which protects any team trading for him.
Lavine to Orlando unfortunately doesn’t make a lot of sense, I say unfortunately because I am a fan of his game and think he could help this current team but there’s multiple other factors we have to consider here other than fit.

If you believe KCP will still be a positive or neutral value on his contract, wouldn’t MIA take the talent upgrade for this season, and trade KCP this summer or at the February 2025 trade deadline?

Why wouldn't we just keep him moving to ensure we don't have to worry about unloading him later? Injuries and decline are both a thing.

Exactly...IF Isaac was playing 35 mins, you sure as hell wouldn't be talking about Lyles and Huerter

Huerter's a negative, isn't he. Lyles would be filed under salary filler in any deal. Nice enough, no big deal, reserve.
Anyway, NO from ORL...Lavine's deal is just too much. I'd maybe consider piling up shorter term salaries of expendable guys (for Lavine), not two core guys AND a pick for a player that CHI wants to be rid of and a guy I couldn't pick out on the street.
