1.

utah trades: 2025 #1 (CLE)

lal trades: reddish, protection removed 2027 #1

Jazz get unprotected first for an almost guaranteed low first this year

2.

chi trades: vuc, craig

lal trades: rui/vando, hayes, knecht, jhs

bulls move on from vuc and pick up knecht for their rebuild

3.

cha trades: richards, gibson, curry

lal trades: vincent, wood, 2025 #1 (CLE)

hornets turn richards into a first for their rebuild

Lakers: get much needed help at center and shooting ....

Richards doesn’t seem like he’s worth a first IMO.

All three trades feel pretty good for the other teams honestly. I think you could get the Portland first from Chicago in that suggestion (Chuck idea?) and then use that and another second to get Richards

Utah should do it even though it likely changes nothing for them.

#2 OK at least you show some consideration to your trading partner and don't just dump contracts in their lap.

You do still send the Bulls 4 for 2 so they have to release a pair of players and they really don't have two candidates. For that reason I think the Bulls say No.

Rui yeah comes in and maybe starts, Hayes gets 18-20 minutes as the backup 5, don't know how Knecht gets off the bench if the Bulls still have Giddey, Lavine, Ball, White, Dosunmu and even THT. JHS might as well say he's got a bad ankle and stay in street clothes.

The Utah part is fine. Lakers are trading 7 roster spots for 5. Will they have room left after these trades to bring on two more minimum contracts?

Only deal I really see as maybe worth it is the Utah deal, but only if the right trade candidate comes up for that FRP (whether it be in isolation, or attached to others)

Also - we don't need two centers

As an Utah “GM/fan” I’d probably trade a late lotto for the protections removed on that pick. It’s basically a second since the Cavs are going to have the best record. And while I am not that concerned that pick won’t convey because I just don’t see LA being that bad, it would probably be worth the risk/reward just in case.

I still think a trade with Utah and LA where we send Collins/Sexton for the protections removed and another first round pick make a ton of sense. Maybe Collins, Sexton, and the Cavs pick for removing the protections and another pick in the future. Seems like there is a deal to be made.
