Lakers-Pistons-Bulls
Lakers get $17m TPE
Lakers give Rui, LAC25SRP
Bulls get Rui, Simone, $14m TPE, LAC25SRP
Bulls give Lonzo, POR25FRP(1-14)
Pistons get Lonzo, POR25FRP(1-14)
Pistons give Simone
Lakers duck the tax, they get a big TPE, but the real reason they do this is to be very active in the buyout market for players like Bojan, Brown, Brogdon and Simmons.
Bulls move a guard from their clogged lineup and get Rui and Simone, a big wing boost. Rui fits in to the DeMar TPE, which means they can generate a new $14m TPE for Lonzo to Simone swap.
Pistons use their capspace to bring in another guard now that they've lost Ivey. I think lonzo would be a great longterm fit on the Pistons to boost their guard defense and provide leadership intangibles. They also get an SRP and FRP that could convey.

I mean, yes please. Too good for DET. Lonzo is expiring, we’re getting the better player and picks?
I’d probsbly do this if Lonzo was out for the year.
Does the Portland pick evaporate or turn into something? They aren’t missing the lottery, they’ll make sure of it.

Portland pick is lotto protected through '28, then 2 2nds.

We're getting paid to take on the salary and save LAL money, but yeah, good deal for us

When you have nothing to actually contribute to a thread, please just move on to the next one. We see posts like this from you in way too many Chicago threads where its just a rant with no other content. I understand imaginary trades of players can be emotionally difficult, but we do ask that you provide something to the conversation.

My apologies your majesty.
It's bad because Chicago gets nothing useful for a player that has a positive impact.
Hachimura isn't some coveted asset, he's a journeyman who Laker fans try to hype up.

You can take little shots at me. I laughed for real at your majesty. It was cute.
But see how easy it was for you to express why you don't like the deal? And then you wouldn't have to hear from a mod. Because you contributed something.
Glad we had this talk and look forward to your future contributions.

Bulls say no-Ball is playing well (super high IQ and his 3 ball is coming back). It's a great story, and we hope to resign him to a fair deal this summer

Doesn't new CBA prevent you from signing buyout players depending on their salary pre-buyout?
I don't think Lakers can sign any of those guy or does the trade make them eligible for all those guys?

Re: Lakers-Pistons-Bulls
Have you seen Lonzo Ball play of late? He's no longer the dead $21M cap space contract. The Bulls could give him up but for 10X what people think he was worth. He makes a massive difference when he's on the floor for the Bulls and I believe he would be interested in resigning and they would want him back. So don't think they're giving up any asset to move him to get Rui who isn't a game changer for CHI.

As a Pistons fan I would do this in an instant. Unfortunately you are correct, there is no way Chicago will or should do this, Ball is looking legit again which isa huge boost to a Chicago team which could use some good karma (Detroit fans still hate Chicago btw
