Clippers trade: Tucker
Clippers get: Kleber/24 best of DEN/PHI 2nd

Bulls trade: Vucevic/Smith
Bulls get: Gafford/Powell/Tucker/25 DAL 1st(top 4, nada)

Mavs trade: Gafford/Kleber/Powell/25/DAL 1st/25 DEN/PHI 2nd

Clippers turn dead weight into a 3rd big and pick up a good 2nd for the extra year.

Bulls get a first, a playable center, and save some money next year. Could also cut LAC out if they want.

Mavs revamp their big man rotation by upgrading Gafford to Vuc and bring in Smith to replace depth lost with Maxi/Powell needed for matching.

Not sure on Vuc value. 2 weeks ago lots of reports Chicago would take 2nds. Report from this week says they think they could get a first. So a first which figures to be late teens (18 ATM) or very early 20's feels on the high side, but Smith holds some value so landed here. I'll here if I'm wrong and I know GoDaddy has a 1st round pick Maxi Kleber tax lol.

The FRP tax was for Vincent/Powell, not Kleber, because noone would trade an expiring to take that pair on for seconds only.. i dont think i said kleber cost a 1st before.

I think bulls should cut out LAC and try to package gafford and 2nds to OKC for another pick

I dont see mavs being intrested in vuc. Doesnt really fill the need from c position. Smith/kleber swap, sure

I dont see how Vuc warrants a first, and I honestly dont think he's even an upgrade vs Gafford

Maybe I’m wrong and some of the guards/wings on the Mavs do get downhill to the basket more often than I think but I don’t really see how a shooting C really benefits their team as much as others. The gravity of a lob/inside finisher type C seems like it would open up more passing lanes for Luka/Kyrie to spray out to shooters. There are of course benefits to having multiple looks on offense but I don’t know if using this much of their asset pool is justifiable.

I think value is spot on, I don't like Vuc in Dallas only because Mavs REALLY need that defensive backbone.
The Clippers piece looks good though.
If Tucker can add ANYTHING off the bench, that would be helpful for Dallas or they could keep him off, swing him for a useful 2 yr contract, or cut him.
A bit redundant, but for example Tucker to POR or Thybulle(neutral value?).

I couldn't sell any team wanting the two Bulls centers for a FRP, not in real life.

On the surface the Bulls get a center tandem for next year, an upgrade defensively for sure, about even rebounding but less than half the scoring. That's where the next sell job begins. The Bulls would need to instantly get more scoring from Williams and Dosunmu to offset Gafford for Vucevic, and probably more good scoring minutes from Buzelis and Phillips to make up for Smith. Right now Vucevic is the Bulls' 2nd best 3pt shooter while Gafford and Powell shoot none. What's more likely is Lavine firing up more shots but not being as efficient as he is now. So getting stuck with Tucker who is looking to make the playoffs not play out the string with the lottery bound Bulls.

The Bulls may semi tank but not enough to #10 to keep their pick and you've got DAL upgrading so their pick goes higher
