BULLS - GRIZZLIES

Post#1 » by uriah » Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:13 am

Zach Lavine + Jalen Smith
for
Marcus Smart + Brandon Clarke + Luke Kennard + John Konchar + 2025 frp

Bulls get out of Lavine's contract while getting nice players able to contribute right away or be flipped for other assets.

Grizzlies go into win-now mode with the core of Morant+Bane+Lavie+JJJ+ others locked for the next 2-3 years

Memphis, like most of the other teams, has 0 interest in Lavine. Nothing to discuss here.

Not sure about that, could he be a final piece to round up the roster adding firepower and external shooting at the expense of Smart (not available most of the games), kennard (expiring), Konchar (filler) and Clarkes production that should be replaced by Smiths.

Smart >>> Lavine in PO games
even when injured

OP looks like a classic fantasy trade proposal.

Like always, why do people not look at the other team in their trades. The Bulls have too many guards now and you want them to trade 1 and get 3 back. And of those 3 only Kennard is an expiring contract. Then you leave the Bulls with no backup center not even a PF over 6-8. And of course 4 for 2 mans they have 17 players on the roster so they need to pay to cut 2. And MEM is 3rd in the west so that's the 25th or so pick

Grizz should take a look at Pat and Smith but no interest in Lavine. He would be the Bradley Beal to our Des being Booker meaning we don’t need, want or would do that deal for two offense first SG’s making that much money. Jaren will get paid so anyone interfering with that is a heck no.
