The Bucks aren't trading for Beal. These are made up rumors from NBA execs who want to steal Giannis and are trying to create strife + air of desperation. The Bucks won NBA Cup, dominant against above .500 teams outside the east top 3. The Celtics & Cavs games, outside special situations, were super close, w/ Bucks missing key guys. The Knicks are a match-up issue. They can address by acquiring athletic big. A real upgrade to the core would do little, let alone a fake one.

And you're adding a bunch of other assets for some reason for the privilege of adding arguably the worst contract in the NBA.

Middleton is arguably the most underrated player of all-time & when he's coming off an injury he's in his own tier. He's ramping up. His per 36's & net ratings are outstanding, like last season. In the playoffs he killed it. He'll step up again. How bout we just keep him & have arguably the deadliest trio in the NBA. If they need to add anything, it's role guys. Not trade for a saboteur.

The aggregating would be the salaries of the players. A 2nd apron team can not combine the salaries of players to acquire another player. In this deal, Beal for Butler works fine, because Butler makes less than Beal. However Lopez makes more than Nurk this season, which makes the deal illegal, as other salaries would need to be added to acquire him.

That would be more than twice the size of any trade in NBA history.

LOL this is maybe the worst all time trade I ever seen involving the Bucks, we're not bailing you guys out.
