Charlotte trades Josh Green, Vasa Micic
Charlotte receives Jusuf Nurkic, Dario Saric, Daron Holmes
Hornets eat some salary for a look at a young option at backup center in Holmes (next season since he's injured this year). Nurkic is also at least somewhat worth a look at backup C this year. Possible reclamation project to try and flip in the offseason. Green is redundant on the current roster, and until Mark plays through a full season, multiple depth pieces behind him will be needed.
Denver trades Daron Holmes, Zeke Nnaji, Dario Saric, Vlatko Cancar
Denver receives Josh Green, Vasa Micic
Nuggets trade a handful of players out of their rotation and/or injured this season, for a no-frills 3&D option in Green, to try and fill the KCP role. Micic holds no real value apart from his 1+1 TO contract, but is familiar with Jokic from the Serbian Olympic team (and reportedly wanted to be traded to Denver in the offseason). Trade is largely salary neutral moving forward (a couple mil less next year, a couple mil more the following), but clears the 4th year of Nnaji's contract.
Phoenix trades Jusuf Nurkic
Phoenix receives Zeke Nnaji, Vlatko Cancar
Salary move for the Suns, who effectively stretch Nurkic into a live contract rather than a dead one and get huge savings this year. more than $7M in *immediate* cap savings this year leading to a huge number in luxury tax (mental math is estimating somewhere in the $40M range? might be more), and they take on $23M over 3 years for Nnaji instead of 1 year $19.4M for Nurkic. Nnaji is likely useless on the court, but not like the Suns were getting much from Nurk anyway.
