Lonzo Ball(buyout?)
for
RJ Barrett
Raptors need to start clearing out some of these long-term contracts that don't make sense around Barnes.
Bulls can sell themselves on Barrett as another piece towards chasing the playin or as a youngish tank commander with name value to sell their fans when they finally enter a rebuild. Either way feels like a Bulls move.
Nobody gets incentive here though I expect both sides to claim they are due some. So have some Hartford Whalers 2nds to your heart's content.

Would only be interested in this as part of a larger trade for an upgrade for next year (ie for butler).

Re: Something different Bulls/Raptors
I liked Barrett when the Knicks were supposedly looking at Lavine years and millions ago.
Ball is not just an expiring contract to the Bulls anymore, the team actually steps it up when he is on the floor, he's really shooting the 3 ball and I want him back next year. Bulls also do not want RJ and Lavine on the same team
I'm in the Godaddycurse camp, join in a bigger super max guy deal use Lavine's $43M to move guys around
Have TOR look at the usual $20M that the Lakers have to offer going out for Vucevic, i.e. Hachimura, Vincent JHS, is that good for TOR to save years while sending Barrett to the Bulls?

How far down the list is Ingram in this template? Cheaper and younger than Butler, but obviously not as good the next year or so? Seems really attainable and happy to sit out the next month..

i think Ingram requires a 4 year contract while Jimmy is only 3 so i prefer the latter personally
